A huge thanks to all that made the 2018 weekend possible! This includes (but is not limited to) the volunteers and staff who work tirelessly in the build up and on the days, the entertainers (musicians, dancers, jugglers, funfair operators, magicians etc), the stallholders who bring such variety of food, drinks and crafts to Faversham, our sponsors, and (of course) each and every one of you, the festival-goers!
We hope you had a fun, enjoyable and memorable time at Hop Festival 2018: keep your eyes peeled for more info on our Hop Festival party nights as we look forward to welcoming you to Faversham once again!
Join the 30th Anniversary Hop Festival 2019 on Saturday 31st August and Sunday 1st September.
Hop Festival 2018 saw Drumskullz and Harry the Hop leading the procession from Faversham train station all the way down to the Spitfire Stage in Market Place for the Opening Ceremony. With Morris and dance performances including Wicked Belly Morris, Balaton and Bowes & Belles, Shire horses and a selection of classic vehicles there was something for all the family!
A similar procession took place on Sunday at 10:30am, with a Hop Blessing on the Brewery Stage, Court Street at 10:45am.
